It is a really nice atmosphere — calm and comfortable without feeling dull. It wasn’t too loud or too quiet, just the kind of place where you can actually enjoy a conversation while eating. They also have this cute little telephone booth right outside the café, which added a charming touch. We ordered the spicy tricolor tortellini with grilled chicken. It wasn’t spicy, but it was creamy, rich, and really comforting, which I loved. The grilled chicken had a nice char that added extra flavor and balanced the creaminess well. The Intermezzo cappuccino was rich and smooth, and the Mai Tai mocktail was light and refreshing. The server was really nice and friendly. Overall, everything was really well done and enjoyable.

It is one of the best cafe i’ve been to. The ambience was incredible. The atmosphere was perfect. The service was great. Bruschetta - 9.6/10 I absolutely loved it. I initially thought that tomatoes would overpower the other flavors. it was well balanced and flavorful. The balsamic complimented the dish beautifully. Tomato basil pasta with grilled chicken – 8/10 This is where I wondered if we’d made a mistake ordering another tomato based dish after the bruschetta. But paired with the grilled chicken, it turned out really good. The flavor was earthy and comforting, which I genuinely enjoyed.

Café Intermezzo remains a solid choice for a relaxed, unhurried café experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — perfect for a quiet conversation, light meal, or an afternoon pause with coffee. The food was good overall. The sandwich and sides were satisfying, and the tomato-based soup paired well with the bread — comforting and straightforward, exactly what you expect from a European-style café. Coffee-wise, there’s room for improvement. The Turkish coffee was a bit on the light side; I was hoping for a deeper, bolder intensity. The cappuccino was over-poured with milk, which muted the espresso flavor more than it should. Not bad, just not dialed in. Service was so-so — polite but not particularly attentive — though the laid-back setting makes it easy to overlook. All things considered, it was a nice, chill experience. A dependable spot with great ambiance and decent food, even if the coffee execution could be stronger.

I don’t usually write low score reviews, but I wanted to share feedback from Saturday evening. The host was very accommodating and seated us where I requested, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, both our food and hot chocolates arrived cold. While the manager was understanding and replaced the dishes, the initial response from our server felt defensive. Throughout the meal, our server was often unavailable, and we had to ask other staff members for assistance. I really enjoy the atmosphere at Café Intermezzo, but service is important to me, so this experience makes me hesitant to return in the future. We still tipped 18%, but as former servers ourselves we were extremely disappointed.

Went on Christmas Eve as the start of a new tradition with my boyfriend and I. Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We got drinks and apps and it was delicious. The presentation was on point. Lovely establishment!
