Emporio Zunino is a true Santiago classic and for good reason. As the oldest empanada business in the city, it carries a legacy you can taste in every bite. We tried the Pino Empanada and the Queso Empanada, and both were exceptional. The Pino Empanada is everything you want from a traditional Chilean favorite: a perfectly seasoned filling of beef, onions, egg, and olives wrapped in a beautifully baked crust that’s crisp on the outside and soft inside. The Queso Empanada, simple yet sublime, features warm, melty cheese in a light, golden dough that’s wonderfully satisfying. Emporio Zunino combines history, quality, and unmistakable flavor. If you’re in Santiago and want to experience empanadas at their finest, this iconic spot is a must-visit.

A sloppy mostly onion empanada called a "pino" and a very well baked flaky almost croissant in a square with a bit of cheese inside. It's been there sine 1930, so props for that, but sort of meh. Friendly staff and funky atmosphere a plus. Not for me.

Located outside the market, this establishment has been serving delicious empenadas for decades. Quick service. Very reasonable prices.

Delicious and kind of big portion 2.3k clp for Pino

Worst experience in Santiago. I had high expectations based on Google rates. I ate two empanadas here (1 queso and 1 pino). The queso empanada was tasteless. But pino was worse: it was disgusting inside. Even my stomach hurt after eating it. I don’t recommend this place at all. I don’t understand the rates. I had much better empanadas in Santiago.
