Ike's Sandwiches

I just went here for my birthday for the $50 buffett as a referral from someone. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. Most of the food did not taste fresh. The rice tasted burnt or smoky not sure if it was supposed to. I felt like there could have been more of a variety. The goat they had was very good and the chicken was tender. The puff puff was tasty. The people were very nice though as well as the decorations. My recommended dishes are what I tried but I did not like them all.

OMG...where do I start?! I absolutely LOVE Nigerian and Ghanian food for starters! As soon as I arrived, which was a Sunday afternoon 12pm (for the $50 Buffet), they were getting busy! Ok, thats a great sign! My friend and I were seated within 2 minutes and our server (a guy, but I didn't catch his name) was VERY ATTENTIVE and gave great customer service! The food was fresh, hot and delicious! The music was gospel, which I love and the volume was up too high or too low, it was just right! My friend and I could have a casual conversation with no issues! The restaurant was clean and the ambiance (wall paint) is very nice! I left out of there feeling like a stuffed turkey! That food is unmatched compared to any other Nigerian restaurant! I literally drove 45 minutes away in the rain to taste their food, which I learned about in IG (Instagram), so that should tell you a lot! Keep up the great work Ike's Cafe! I definitely look forward to returning in the near future!

This was first time trying the Egusi and Fufu…. It didn’t disappoint! A friend recommended Ike’s so we thought we would make it a date night. The vibe was chill, the food was great and the service was on point. Victoria was sweet and attentive. She explained how to properly eat it without making me feel weird about it. Can’t wait come back and bring the family next time. And then some friends after that!

We had such a great experience at Ike's Cafe & Grill! We came to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and everything was wonderful from start to finish. Our waitress, Kennedy, was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. She truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The food was delicious and came out fresh and flavorful. Kennedy is wonderful, and we’ll definitely be back!

Every dish we ordered was fresh and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in what they do. Fumi’s exceptional service made our afternoon even more special. She checked in on us regularly and ensured we had everything we needed, without being intrusive. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance.
