Great experience from start to finish. I was seated immediately and my order was taken almost as soon as I sat down. My server Rockwell was great. The pepperoni pizza was delicious. 10/10 would eat again. Overall great restaurant experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

We visited the pizzeria with our Keller Williams Realty team for dinner during our conference. Shayla gave great service. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. I had the garlic shrimp skillet - yum. The pizza crusts were super crispy. If you’re around, I would definitely recommend a meal here.

We didn’t have many options near us for food with a few dietary restrictions. We were pleasantly surprised that we could have the gluten free pizza at Max’s tho! It was a fine time dining but wouldn’t say it was our fave. Sufficient tho.

What a great find!! The fungi and fontina pizza with add on spicy sausage was a WINNER! We also enjoyed the Greek salad and two glasses of lovely wine. Awesome service. Great staff.... Pleasing atmosphere. RECOMMENDED!

Just a quick visit to Reddit and you’ll fast see that this little pizza spot is a hidden gem with a great reputation. But this weekend, we encountered that for ourselves and couldn’t be more thankful we did! With two hungry and overstimulated kids (from all the lights, sounds and crowds at the Georgia Aquarium across the way) we stumbled through the front doors of Max’s shortly after opening. Kylie, our server, was amazing from the start - helping us get settled, engaging with the kids and answering our litany of questions. The food came fast, and was as delicious as Kylie said it would be. The burrata was crisp, fresh and refreshing. The specialty pie was an explosion of flavor, and the kids loved that we could split a build your own to suit their needs. Kylie was attentive but not over bearing, and her incredible smile and “everyone is a new friend” personality really made it an experience not just a meal. While Max’s had TVs, the volume was perfect for a break to rest our bodies and regulate our systems. As we enjoyed the light and fluffy crust, authentic richness of fresh herbs and vegetables - and just plain enjoyed our everything about our visit. This is definitely a tourist to Atlanta must visit spot! And did I mention that it was walking distance to the Aquarium, World of Coke, the Civil Rights Museum, Centennial Park and several great Hyatt hotels?! Check it out when you next visit Atlanta, you won’t regret it!!
